Information we collect

At Piko, we collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Account information: name, phone number (WhatsApp), optional profile photo.
• Listing information: descriptions of what you offer or seek (services, products, properties, vehicles, rentals, pets), categories, coverage area and photos.
• Usage data: searches made and services viewed, to improve the assistant's recommendations.
• Anonymous performance metrics: load times, connection type (3G/4G/Wi-Fi) and region (not the exact city). They are not associated with your identity and are retained for 30 days.

How we use your information

• Show your public profile to people looking for services.
• Allow people to contact you on WhatsApp.
• Improve search results using artificial intelligence.
• Send you important notifications about your account.

Public information and protected data

Your provider profile is public by design — this allows others to find you. However, some data never leaves our servers.

When someone wants to contact you on WhatsApp, the request passes through our servers: we verify the requester's identity, generate the contact link and send it to you securely. Your number never appears in the app or in responses from our interfaces.

Likewise, the distance between you and other users is calculated on the server — we only show your city and neighborhood, never your precise coordinates.

Data protection

Your privacy is our priority. We implement several layers of protection:

• Protected phone number: your number never leaves our servers. WhatsApp contact takes place through a secure link generated by us.
• Protected location: your GPS coordinates are used internally to calculate distances, but are never sent to other users.
• Abuse prevention: we limit the number of contact requests per user to prevent spam and misuse.
• Encryption in transit: all communications use HTTPS.
• Encryption at rest: sensitive data is stored in encrypted form.
• Secure authentication: the verification code is sent via WhatsApp and stored as a SHA-256 hash. We never store your code in plain text.

Third-party services

To provide the service, we share the minimum necessary information with the following providers. Each only accesses the data needed to perform its role.

Cookies and analytics

Piko uses cookies essential to operating the platform (user sessions). Our infrastructure providers may collect basic traffic analytics (visits, country of origin) in aggregate and anonymously. We do not use advertising tracking cookies or share data with advertising networks.

International data transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States through our infrastructure providers. By using Piko, you consent to this international data transfer, carried out in accordance with Paraguay's Law No. 1682/01 on Private Information.

Data retention

We retain your personal information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within the following 30 days, except for data we must retain to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

• Access your personal information.
• Edit or update your profile.
• Delete your account and all your data.
• Request a portable copy of your data.

The Piko platform is operated by Astral Horizon Labs L.L.C., registered in New Mexico, United States.
